These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.silentdao.cc and your purchase of products from Silent Dao.

Silent Dao is operated by Hong Kong Zetao International Trade Co., Ltd. (“Silent Dao,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting our website, creating an account, submitting information or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.

1. ONLINE STORE PLATFORM

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and services to customers.

Your use of certain checkout, payment or account features may also be subject to Shopify’s terms and privacy practices.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate
• You are authorised to use the selected payment method
• The purchase complies with the laws applicable to you
• You are legally permitted to import and possess the products in your destination

Our products are intended for purchase and use by adults.

3. PRODUCT PURPOSE AND SAFETY

Silent Dao products are aromatic incense products intended for fragrance, atmosphere and personal ritual.

They are not medicines, medical devices or treatments, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Descriptions concerning calm, rest, focus, balance, reflection, grounding or similar experiences describe the intended atmosphere or traditional ritual context and are not guarantees of physical or medical effects.

Incense produces smoke and involves an open flame or glowing ember. Customers must:

• Use incense only in a suitable incense holder
• Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Keep it away from curtains, paper and flammable materials
• Never leave burning incense unattended
• Keep it away from children and pets
• Use it in a reasonably ventilated space
• Avoid direct inhalation of concentrated smoke
• Fully extinguish it after use
• Stop use if irritation or discomfort occurs

Customers with respiratory sensitivities, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy concerns or concerns about exposure around children or animals should seek appropriate professional advice before use.

Silent Dao is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, unattended burning or failure to follow reasonable safety precautions.

4. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display products accurately.

Natural and plant-derived aromatic materials may vary between batches. Differences in colour, texture, fragrance intensity, smoke pattern or appearance do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Screen settings, lighting and photography may cause product colours to appear differently from the physical item.

Quantities described as approximate, including the number of incense sticks per box, may vary because products are sold primarily by net weight.

Product dimensions, burn duration and fragrance descriptions are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. INGREDIENT AND SOURCE CLAIMS

Product descriptions are based on information available to us from our production and supply partners.

Terms such as natural, handcrafted, traditional, sustainably sourced, wild, organic or free from specific substances will be used only where we believe there is an appropriate factual basis.

Customers with allergies or sensitivities should contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee that products have been produced in an environment entirely free from all possible allergens or cross-contact.

6. AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to the cart does not reserve it.

We may:

• Limit quantities
• Discontinue a product
• Correct inventory errors
• Refuse orders involving suspected resale, fraud or misuse
• Cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled item.

7. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

A binding sale is formed when we accept the order and begin fulfilment or dispatch the products, subject to applicable law.

We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including:

• Payment failure
• Suspected fraud
• Unusual order quantities
• Shipping restrictions

We will notify you and refund any amount collected for an order we cancel.

8. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or at checkout.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect orders already accepted.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is fulfilled.

Your bank or payment provider may charge currency-conversion or international transaction fees. These fees are not controlled by Silent Dao.

9. PRICING AND WEBSITE ERRORS

We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions, prices, promotions, shipping charges, availability or other website information.

If a material pricing error affects an order, we may contact you to confirm the corrected price or cancel and refund the affected order.

10. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES

Promotions and discount codes:

• Apply only during the stated period
• Cannot normally be exchanged for cash
• May be limited to selected products or destinations
• May have minimum purchase requirements
• Cannot normally be combined unless stated otherwise
• May be withdrawn where there is an error, misuse or suspected fraud

Complimentary gifts are subject to availability and may be replaced with an item of similar function or value where reasonably necessary.

11. SHIPPING, CUSTOMS AND DELIVERY

Orders are subject to our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and complying with destination-country import requirements.

Unless duties and taxes are expressly collected at checkout, the recipient is responsible for customs duties, import taxes and local handling charges.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by matters outside our reasonable control.

12. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Returns, cancellations, replacements and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

is owned by or licensed to Hong Kong Zetao International Trade Co., Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, scrape or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.

14. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:

• You have the right to submit it
• It is truthful and based on genuine experience
• It does not infringe another person’s rights
• It is not unlawful, abusive, misleading or defamatory
• It does not contain malicious software or unauthorised advertising

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use submitted content for operating and promoting Silent Dao, subject to applicable privacy law.

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

15. PROHIBITED USES

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hong Kong Zetao International Trade Co., Ltd. and its officers, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent legally permitted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

20. INDEMNIFICATION

22. SEVERABILITY

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy and any additional terms displayed at checkout, form the agreement governing your use of the store and purchase of products.

25. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without excluding any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s place of residence.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Changes will not normally apply retrospectively to orders already accepted, unless required by law.
